This unique, original work of art was inspired not only by the mystery of the cosmos, but the personally accepted challenge of using three suggested colors. This piece was started with multiple layers of delicately laid acrylic wash. Paint was also applied with detailed masking and includes my unique graphite-drawn freeform technique. Black paint covers the edges of the canvas allowing the piece to be hung boldly without the need for a custom frame. The painting was dusted with fine silver glitter before being sealed with a semi-gloss varnish for enhanced beauty and increased longevity.
